Caesars Entertainment achieved the highest ranking on the Disability Equality Index (DEI) in 2022. This benchmark, a collaborative effort between the American Association of People with Disabilities and DisabilityIN, witnessed Caesars’ score surge from 80 the previous year to a flawless 100 this year. This accomplishment highlights Caesars’ profound dedication to inclusivity for individuals with disabilities, a fundamental principle for the organization.

This announcement follows closely on the heels of Caesars introducing its Caesars Racebook application in Kentucky, the sixth state to provide this platform, as covered by Gaming America.

“At Caesars, we are devoted to cultivating an environment where disability inclusion is an essential element of our comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion approach,” stated Tom Reeg, Chief Executive Officer of Caesars Entertainment. “We continuously assess our procedures to guarantee they conform to the most rigorous benchmarks of disability inclusion, and we are incredibly honored to have attained a perfect score on this year’s Disability Equality Index. We acknowledge the significant importance of inclusivity and remain unwavering in our pledge to advance progress for our team members, patrons, and the communities we serve.”

For those acquainted with the gaming sector, this dedication to inclusivity is not unexpected. Tom Reeg, who spearheaded this endeavor, carried his robust leadership from his prior position as Chief Executive Officer of Eldorado Resorts. While the notable union of Eldorado and Caesars in the United States brought substantial transformation, the essence of Eldorado’s management philosophy, with its emphasis on inclusivity, persists in propelling the organization ahead, even as the company astutely opted to preserve the renowned Caesars brand.

Caesars Entertainment’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, Heather Rapp, conveyed satisfaction with the organization’s flawless rating in diversity, equity, and inclusion this year. She highlighted the staff’s commitment to cultivating a hospitable and inclusive work environment for all. Rapp further communicated excitement for ongoing advancement and invited new colleagues from varied backgrounds to become part of the Caesars team.
