A leading British wagering firm has announced two key executive hires, appointing sector veteran David Hammond as their Chief Business Officer for the UK and Jon Knapman as their new Chief Business Officer for overseas markets. These calculated maneuvers aim to reinforce the company’s standing both domestically and worldwide.

Hammond brings extensive experience to the role, having held leadership positions at major players such as Inspired Gaming and Paddy Power Betfair. His notable background also includes periods as Chief Operating Officer at SBTech and Senior Vice President at DraftKings. Notably, Hammond’s enthusiasm for horse racing adds another dimension to his proficiency. As the proprietor of five Irish racehorses and a member of several racing partnerships, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of the equestrian realm, which will undoubtedly benefit him in his new position.

Concurrently, Knapman is entrusted with driving the expansion of the company’s global B2B operations. Capitalizing on the company’s recent triumphs in penetrating markets like South Africa, Hong Kong, and the US, Knapman will be seeking to leverage new prospects and further cement their international footprint.

Alex Frost, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, conveyed enthusiasm about the future, remarking, “We’re delighted to have Dave join our ranks. Following three years of substantial international growth, we’re keen to sustain our expansion strategy, and we foresee even more promising possibilities emerging.”

Im incredibly excited to become a part of the Tote group and eagerly anticipate collaborating with Alex, Jon, and the entire team to truly establish Tote as a widely recognized brand within the UK!
