Allwyn Appoints Andrea Vidler as UK CEO to Lead National Lottery Transformation
Allwyn has designated Andrea Vidler as the Chief Executive Officer for their UK branch, commencing on October 1st. Vidler will succeed Robert Chvatal, who managed the role temporarily in addition to his position as Allwyn Group CEO. Chvatal will now completely return to his duties as Group CEO.
This selection arises as Allwyn gets ready to assume control of the UK National Lottery permit in February 2024. Vidler’s background in steering entertainment companies through technological evolution will be essential as Allwyn seeks to elevate contributions to charitable organizations throughout their decade-long term.
Vidler contributes a wealth of knowledge to the position, having formerly acted as CEO of Tag Worldwide throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Her previous executive role at Centaur Media further bolsters her qualifications.
Justin King, Chairman of Allwyn UK, commended Vidler’s appointment, emphasizing her proficiency in navigating the online world and generating prospects for entertainment brands. This skill set is anticipated to be indispensable for the National Lottery.
