The digital gaming firm, 888, has divested its bingo operations to Broadway Gaming in a deal valued at $45.2 million. The majority of the sum will be disbursed upfront, with the remainder due within a year. Additionally, 888 will furnish certain services to Broadway for the following year.

Expressing gratitude to the bingo division, 888’s Chief Executive, Itai Pazner, stated that this divestiture allows the company to prioritize its consolidation with William Hill. 888 aspires to attain a prominent position in the global online betting and gaming sector.

Headquartered in the UK, the bingo enterprise generated approximately $54 million in revenue during 2022.

Broadway’s CEO, David Butler, expressed enthusiasm regarding the acquisition, characterizing it as a “superior bingo operation and infrastructure.”

Uniting these enterprises with our current operations and names like ‘Butlers Bingo’ will grant us a considerably more robust presence in all the significant regulated bingo sectors globally.”

“We perceive substantial expansion possibilities, both with established patrons and in emerging domains such as providing bingo solutions to corporations. We are enthusiastic about collaborating with the leadership group and transforming our future aspirations into actuality – our goal is to become the premier online bingo provider worldwide.”

This action follows 888’s designation of three fresh board representatives subsequent to their procurement of William Hill’s non-US holdings back in July 2022.
